Pay and request in a chat

Send money or ask for it right inside a conversation. How payment requests work, how to pay one, and how to share a request with someone who doesn't use Morsel.

The money button at the left of the message box lets you pay the other wallet or ask them to pay you, without leaving the chat.

A request card, then Pay.

Send money

  1. In the chat, tap the money button, then Send.
  2. Morsel opens Send with this wallet as the recipient.
  3. Choose the amount, review and press and hold Hold to send, as with any payment.

The payment appears in the chat.

Request money

  1. Tap the money button, then Request.
  2. On Request from [name], pick the token. You can request COOK on Cookie Chain, SOL or USDC on Solana, or any token you hold on the network you're on.
  3. Enter the Amount. Morsel shows where it will be paid: Paid on Cookie Chain or Paid on Solana.
  4. Add a note in What’s it for? (optional) if you like.
  5. Tap Request.

A request card appears in the chat: You requested, the amount, the network and your note. It says Waiting for payment until it's paid.

Pay a request

When someone requests money from you, their card says Asks you to pay.

  1. Check who's asking, the amount and the network.
  2. Tap Pay [amount]. Morsel opens Send with everything filled in.
  3. Review and hold to send.

Or tap Decline. The card updates for both of you.

Share a request outside Morsel

If they don't use Morsel, tap Share link on your request card. Morsel shares a payment link, or copies it with Payment link copied. Most wallets on that network can open it to pay you.

To take a request back, tap Cancel on your card.
