Your address on each network
Why your Morsel address is the same on Cookie Chain and Solana, and how to avoid sending on the wrong network.
Your wallet has one address, and it's the same on Cookie Chain and Solana. Both networks use the same kind of keys and the same address format, so the key that controls your wallet on one controls it on the other.
What that means for you
- Receiving: you can give the same address to anyone, on either network.
- Sending to you: what arrives depends on the network the sender used, not on the address. COOK sent on Cookie Chain arrives on Cookie Chain.
- Seeing it: to see something that arrived on the other network, switch networks. See Switch networks.
Sent on the wrong network?
Because the address is the same, nothing is lost when someone sends to your Morsel address on the "other" network. It's in your wallet, on that network. Switch networks and it's there.
It's different when you send to someone else:
- Another Morsel user, or a wallet that supports both networks: they'll find it on the network you used.
- An exchange: exchanges usually support only some networks, and often not Cookie Chain. Funds sent on a network the exchange doesn't support may be lost, or need the exchange's support team to recover. Check before you send.
Find and copy your address
- Tap your address at the top of the screen. It copies and shows Copied to clipboard!
- Or tap Copy in the actions on Home.
- To show a QR code, tap Add → Receive. The screen says Your [network] address and reminds you Only send [network] assets to this address.
Several addresses?
Each wallet in Morsel has its own address. Morsel uses the first address of each recovery phrase, on the standard Solana path. To keep separate addresses, add separate wallets. See Manage your wallets.
