Quick start

From install to your first payment in ten minutes. Create a wallet, back it up, add funds, send, and swap.

New to Morsel, or to crypto wallets? Follow these six steps in order. Each one links to a full guide if you want the details.

1. Create your wallet

Open Morsel, tap Create a new wallet, choose a password, pick your networks and tap Create wallet. No email, no sign-up.

Full guide: Create a wallet. Already have a wallet? Import it.

2. Back up your Secret Recovery Phrase

Tap Back up your wallet on Home and write the 12 words on paper, in order. Then pick three of them back to prove you have them.

This is the one step you can't skip. If you lose your device, the phrase is the only way back in.

Full guide: Your Secret Recovery Phrase.

3. Know which network you're on

Morsel shows one network at a time: Cookie Chain or Solana. The network button at the top right of Home shows which one, and switches between them. Your address is the same on both.

Full guide: Switch networks.

4. Add funds

Every action on a network costs a tiny network fee, paid in its own coin: COOK on Cookie Chain, SOL on Solana. So the first thing your wallet needs is a little of one of them.

  • From another wallet or an exchange: tap Add → Receive, then copy your address or show the QR code. See Receive.
  • From Solana to Cookie Chain: tap Add → Bridge from Solana to move SOL or COOK across. See Bridge COOK and SOL.

5. Send your first payment

Tap Send, enter an address, a contact or a name like alice.cook, choose the amount, then press and hold Hold to send.

Full guide: Send tokens.

6. Make your first swap

Open the Swap tab, choose what to sell and what to buy, enter an amount, tap Swap, then press and hold Hold to Swap. Morsel finds the best price for you.

Full guide: Swap tokens.
