Unstake and withdraw
Get staked COOK or SOL back in two steps, unstake then withdraw, and know how long each takes. Also add to a stake or combine stakes.
Getting your stake back takes two steps: unstake, wait for the epoch to end, then withdraw. That's how staking works on both networks.
Open a stake
Go to the staking page (tap Stake on Home) and tap a stake under Your stakes. You can also tap a Staked COOK or Staked SOL row in Positions on Home.
Your stake shows its amount, its validator and a timeline of where it is.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Activating | Waiting for the next epoch to start earning. |
| Active | Staked and working. |
| Unstaking | Leaving the validator. Available at the next epoch. |
| Ready to withdraw | You can move it back to your wallet now. |
| Inactive | Not staked. Withdraw it, or stake it again. |
Unstake
- Open the stake and tap Unstake.
- Check the details and press and hold to confirm.
The stake shows Unstaking. It finishes when the current epoch ends: up to about 54 hours on Cookie Chain, and about two days on Solana.
Withdraw
- When the stake says Ready to withdraw, open it and tap Withdraw.
- Confirm.
The COOK or SOL goes back to your wallet, together with the account deposit you paid to open the stake.
Stake more or combine
- Stake more adds to a stake with the same validator.
- Combine stakes merges stakes with the same validator into one, so they're easier to manage.
