Cookie Chain and Solana

The two networks Morsel supports today, what COOK and SOL are for, and why Morsel shows one network at a time.

Morsel is a multi-SVM wallet. SVM stands for Solana Virtual Machine: the engine that runs Solana programs. Other networks can run the same engine, and Cookie Chain is one of them. Because they share it, one wallet and one address work on both.

Cookie Chain is an SVM network built for fast, low-cost trading and apps. Its native token is COOK.

  • COOK pays every network fee on Cookie Chain. Keep a little in your wallet to send, swap or sign.
  • Names end in .cook, so you can pay alice.cook instead of a long address.
  • Collectibles trade on Baked Bazaar.
  • Apps include CookieSwap, CookieBox, MomoSwap and Aera Lend. Find them in the Apps tab.

Solana

Solana is the original SVM network, with the widest range of tokens and apps. Its native token is SOL.

  • SOL pays every network fee on Solana.
  • Names end in .sol.
  • Swaps go through Jupiter, which searches most Solana exchanges for you.

One network at a time

Morsel shows the network you're on, nothing mixed in. Home, your tokens, positions, activity, Send, Receive, Swap, Stash and staking all belong to the network shown in the network button at the top right.

This keeps you from mixing up tokens that share a name on both networks, like COOK, which exists natively on Cookie Chain and as a bridged token on Solana. Switching is one tap. See Switch networks.

Network fees go to the network, not to Morsel. For what Morsel itself charges, see Fees.

Moving between them

Tokens don't cross between networks on their own. To move COOK or SOL from one network to the other, use the bridge. See Bridge COOK and SOL.
