Contacts and watched wallets
Save the addresses you pay often, follow any wallet read-only, and find both in one list when you send.
Contacts and watched wallets live in one list on your device. A contact is an address with a name. A watched wallet is a contact you also follow, so it shows in your wallet picker under View-only.
Save a contact
- Go to Settings → Wallets → Address book and tap Add address.
- In Name, type who it is.
- In Address, paste an address or type a
.cookname. On iPhone and Android you can scan a QR code. When a name resolves, Morsel shows Points to and the address. - Tap Save.
Morsel tags each contact with the network you were on when you saved it.
Watch a wallet
Watching lets you follow any wallet: a friend's, a project's treasury, or your own cold wallet.
- Tap your wallet name at the top, then Add new wallet → Watch an address.
- Choose the network to watch it on.
- Paste the address, or a
.cookname on Cookie Chain, and tap Watch wallet.
Morsel opens the wallet read-only. To keep it handy, tap Save and give it a name. You can also watch a wallet straight from its read-only view. See View another wallet.
Use them when you send
On Send to, your contacts and watched wallets appear together under Contacts. Type a name to filter. If a contact was saved on the other network, Morsel tells you Saved as a [network] contact.
Edit or remove
- Edit a contact: Settings → Wallets → Address book, tap the contact, change it and save. View wallet opens it read-only.
- Delete a contact: tap Delete address, then Yes, remove. This also removes it from your watched wallets.
- Stop watching: in the wallet picker, tap the cross next to a watched wallet, then Remove. The contact stays in your address book.
